What’s next for Cockroach Janta Party after Jantar Mantar protest? Abhijeet Dipke reveals future plan

Aday after the protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar over alleged irregularities in the education system, Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke announced the party’s next course of action.

Dipke has given the central government a seven-day ultimatum, demanding the removal or resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. He warned that if no action is taken within a week, the movement will be expanded across the country.

Abhijeet Dipke calls the protest ‘historic’

In a statement issued after the demonstration, Dipke thanked everyone who participated in the protest. He described the gathering as historic and completely peaceful.

According to him, many people who had never participated in a public protest before joined the movement to express their concerns about the education system. He said the event marked only the beginning of a larger campaign.

Dipke also stated that an entire generation has been affected by issues in the education sector and that accountability must be ensured.

Serious allegations against Dharmendra Pradhan

Dipke accused Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan of failing students and harming the future of a generation.

He said the government has seven days to either remove the minister from office or accept his resignation. If that does not happen, CJP will intensify its campaign and take the movement to a larger scale.

Dipke also announced that he would address supporters through an Instagram Live session to explain the party’s future strategy.

CJP warns of nationwide protest

The protest at Jantar Mantar concluded after several hours of demonstrations and slogan shouting. However, CJP leaders made it clear that their campaign is far from over.

Party spokesperson Ashish Ranka said the government has one week to respond to their demands. He stated that either Dharmendra Pradhan should resign voluntarily or Prime Minister Narendra Modi should remove him from the cabinet.

According to Ranka, failure to act could lead to protests being organised across multiple states.

CJP says education reform is the main goal

Party leaders said their movement is focused on bringing changes to India’s education system.

They argued that students and young people have faced several challenges related to examinations and educational policies, and these issues require urgent attention.

CJP claims the Jantar Mantar protest has started a broader conversation about reforms in the education sector.

BJP responds to the protest

The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) also reacted to the demonstration.

BJP National President Nitin Naveen said some individuals sitting abroad are trying to influence the direction of India’s youth, but such attempts will not succeed.

His remarks came as large numbers of people gathered at Jantar Mantar to raise concerns about examinations and the education system.
