What Led Donald Trump To Shift His Stance On China? Here’s What He Said About The Call

Donald Trump took oath as the 47th President of US. Trump disclosed many plans during his speech after swearing-in as US President.

According to media reports, Trump, who intent on imposing tax on China before taking oath as President, has now changed his thought of doing it.

As per reports, Donald Trump has postponed this plan for the time being. This is due to a call from the President of China Xi Jinping.

Donald Trump said that, “We are going to have meetings and calls with President Xi, I spoke to President Xi last week. I had a very good phone call.”

While campaigning for the elections, Donald Trump stated to impose tax up to 60% on China, but things got changed after the phone call, as per media reports.

But after the phone call Donald Trump seems to be soften his stance. According to media reports, Donald Trump has expressed to visit China within 100 days of office, as reported by Wal Street Journal.
