Wednesday Season 2 is currently one of the most awaited shows on Netflix and fans are eagerly waiting for its release this year. Jenna Ortega will reprise the role of Wednesday Addams and its second season is likely to begin from the big cliffhanger that was shown in the first season. As of now, it has been confirmed that Wednesday Season 2 will release on Netflix in 2025. According to reports, the show will release in the later half of 2025.
Wednesday Season 2 Cast And New Additions:
Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor are the new addition to the cast of Wednesday Season 2. Meanwhile, Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, and Joonas Suotamo will be seen as new guest stars.
Apart from Jenna, Wednesday Season 2 will also star Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Georgie Farmer, Naomi J. Ogawa, Christina Ricci, and Moosa Mostafa.
Meanwhile, popstar and actress Lady Gaga is confirmed for a cameo role in Wednesday Season 2. In an interview with Entertainment Weekely, Lady Gaga talked about her experience of being on the show. She said, “I don’t want to give away anything about being part of the show. I want to keep it extra secret — but, I love Jenna, and I really had an amazing time!”
Talking about the new season, showrunners and executive producers Al Gough and Miles Millar said, “This season, Wednesday’s journey is darker and more complex as she navigates family, friends, new mysteries, and old adversaries, propelling her headlong into another year at Nevermore.” The first episode of Wednesday Season 2 is titled “Here We Woe Again.” It is written by Gough and Millar, and directed by Tim Burton.
According to a report by ProductionWeekly, Wednesday will return for its third season as the cast will reportedly return to Ireland in Fall 2025 to film again. Meanwhile, a report by What’s On Netflix claims that Wednesday Season 3 is currently under the development but the makers are using code name ‘Nightshade & Raven’.
