Director Ayan Mukerji earlier expressed his excitement as he announced War 2’s first song ‘Aavan Jaavan’. He wrote, “Pritam Dada. Amitabh. Arijit. Hrithik and Kiara’s lovely energy as they come together on screen for the first time. Groovy and Romantic – Aavan Jaavan – was the soundtrack for our Italian shoot, and creating it was one of the most joy-filled experiences and memories of making War 2 for all of us! Apart from Hrithik and Kiara, ‘War 2’ also stars Jr NTR in the lead role, and it will also be his Bollywood debut. Anil Kapoor and Ashutosh Rana will also be seen in pivotal roles. The movie is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. It will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on August 14, 2025.
