Vinod Kambli Health Update: ‘Determination And Fighting Spirit’ – Maharashtra Transport Minister Reveals Kambli’s Current Health

Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Baburao Sarnaik has given an encouraging health update on former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli. The minister assured the public that Kambli is doing fine and that he will soon recover fully. Kambli was admitted to Akruti Hospital near Bhiwandi on Saturday, December 21. According to reports, he is responding well to treatment for a urinary tract infection (UTI).

Medical Condition & Treatment Progress

Kambli’s health worsened earlier this month when he suffered from an extreme urinary infection that resulted in pus collecting in his bladder. Doctors had decided to conduct an MRI on Kambli to better analyze his condition. However, the procedure was postponed as he developed a fever on Tuesday. According to a doctor speaking to PTI, a final decision on conducting the MRI will be taken after his fever subsides.

MRI Reveals Clots In Brain

The MRI after a series of preliminary medical examinations revealed the presence of clots in Kambli’s brain. This added layer of complexity has made the doctors cautious about proceeding with non-invasive procedures until his condition stabilizes further.

Pratap Baburao Sarnaik Gives Vinod Kambli’s Health Update

“Visited former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli, who has been admitted to Akruti Hospital, Kalher, Bhiwandi, due to health issues,” Sarnaik tweeted on Wednesday.

“Mr Vinod Kambli is a shining name in Indian cricket, who has always made the nation proud with his performances. His eyes still reflect the same determination and fighting spirit that he has always displayed on the field,” Sarnaik said.

“His condition is currently stable and I am confident that he will recover soon. I interacted with his family members and assured them that I would make sure he got the best medical treatment and care,” Sarnaik added.

Vinod Kambli Brought To Hospital On Time

While Kambli’s condition was described as serious on December 20, doctors emphasized that immediate medical attention was essential. Had he stayed at home, his condition could have worsened without treatment. Kambli was admitted to the hospital with fluctuating blood pressure, which necessitated his stay in the ICU.

Vinod Kambli On Road To Recovery

Though the condition of Kambli is a little serious due to the urinary infection and clots in the brain, but he is getting proper treatement. Minister Sarnaik’s statement, coupled with what the doctor said, hints that the 52-year-old cricketer will soon be out of the hospital. Fans and well-wishers have pinned hopes on the resilience of the batter to see him over this trying time.
