Vikrant Massey has shocked his fans after announcing his retirement from acting. Known for his roles in ’12th Fail’, ‘The Sabarmati Report’ and others, the actor has left the audiences heartbroken with his decision. Amid the retirement announcement, Vikrant recently arrived at Balyogi Auditorium in Parliament for the screening of his film ‘The Sabarmati Report’.

He will be joined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who recently reached the Parliament as well. ‘The Sabarmati Report’ also stars Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra in the lead roles.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the film on X. He reshared a post that called the film ‘a must watch’ and wrote, “Well said. It is good that this truth is coming out, and that too in a way common people can see it. A fake narrative can persist only for a limited period of time. Eventually, the facts will always come out!”

Meanwhile, announcing his retirement, Vikrant wrote on Instagram, “The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realise its time to recalibrate and go back home. As a Husband, Father & a Son. And also as an Actor. So coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right. Last 2 movies and many a years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between.”

Several actors expressed their shock over Vikrant’s decision. Patralekha wrote, “Noway!!! You are one of the finest actors that we have..” Akanksha Ranjan Kapoor commented, “What????? Sonu!! No you are one of the very few real actors we have left!!!!!!”

Jiya Shankar wrote, “I hope whatever the reason, you take your time and come back.” Vikrant’s ‘The Sabarmati Report’ co-star Raashii Khanna wrote, “What? No!” His ’12th Fail’ co-star Medha Shankr commented, “???? What?”

Vikrant Massey will be seen in ‘Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan’ with Shanaya Kapoor.
