The Olympics and Paralympic Games, Paris 2024, is the largest event ever organized in France. The Games started on 26 July and going to end on 11 August. Each discipline and each result are going to be stored in history during this period. Victories and defeats of athletes from all over the world.

Adil Osmanov of Moldova won a bronze medal in the men’s 73-kilogram category by defeating Manuel Lombardo of Italy. In celebration, overcome with great elation, he shouted and knelt. He had celebrated by yelling and dropping to his knees, which caused him to sustain a serious injury where his shoulder was dislocated.

With his left hand holding his injured shoulder, he still could get to the podium with the other winners after he was able to.

He further revealed that he was told to go through shoulder surgery before the Paris Olympics and added that he was unwell before the contest, saying, “It was very hard. I felt like I was about to get sick during the warm-up, but this has happened before, and I have won a medal. I had to keep going.”

Father’s Dream Fulfilled

He dedicated his medal to his late father, saying, “My father dreamed about reaching the Olympics but couldn’t make it because of financial problems. His dream was for one of his children to go to the Olympics and win a medal. Today, that dream has come true.”

On the sixth day of the Olympics, Paris 2024, India has its eyes on three more medals. India has won only two bronze medals in shooting so far by Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh. Today, Indian athletes will participate in 15 events with a chance for medals in two of them.
