Telugu actor Varun Tej-starrer Ghani is all set to release in theatres on December 24. However, there is a buzz that the release of the sports drama has been postponed. Now that the makers of Ghani are plotting for a postponement, sources believe the movie would hit screens in March 2022.
Ghani, which was supposed to clash with Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy on December 24 is said to be postponed due to obvious reasons. It is reported that the makers of Ghani and Shyam Singha Roy have come to a consensus in order to avoid the clash in theatres.
As both the movies deserve to get enough attention from the audience, analysts, who had a brief discussion with the makers, indicated that solo releases would favour the movies with a good amount of attention, as well as box-office collections. So, the makers of Ghani are postponing the movie release, to avoid a box-office clash.
Ghani is directed by debutant Kiran Korrapati, the film also stars Saiee Manjrekar, Jagapathi Babu, Suniel Shetty and Naveen Chandra. Kannada Superstar Upendra has a powerful role assigned in Ghani. Ghani is presented by Allu Aravind and bankrolled by Siddu Mudda and Allu Bobby. SS Thaman has composed music for the project, while cinematography is done by George C Williams, respectively, Ghani has edited by Marthand K Venkatesh.
Besides Ghani, Varun IS also shooting for his next film, F3. The film is a sequel to the comedy F2: Fun And Frustration, which released last year. F3 also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Venkatesh Daggubati and Mehreen Pirzadaa.
