Uttarakhand election 2022: Congress works for Parivar, corruption, indulge in appeasement politics says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi  addressed a rally ahead of the Uttarakhand election 2022 and launched a blistering attack on Congress, saying the grand old party has sown seeds of poison due to its policy of appeasement politics.

Addressing a virtual rally, PM Modi appealed to the electorate to reject Congress and vote for BJP, saying at a time when the BJP-led double engine government has given Rs 12,000 crores and completed 90 per cent of work for the Char Dham road project, the grand old party is remembering Char Dham’s name for the first time.

Taking a dig at Congress’ slogan of “Char Dham Char Kam”, the BJP’s star campaigner said, Congress has only four types of work i.e working only for a single Parivar, indulging in corruption and appeasement politics and delaying or stalling developmental projects.

Congress did nothing for the development of Uttarakhand despite being in power for years, PM Modi exhorted whole addressing a virtual rally in Nainital.

“Don’t commit a mistake in upcoming polls, don’t elect a party that blocks the development of Uttarakhand,” PM Modi urged the voters.

In reference to previous Congress regimes at the Centre and the hill state, PM Modi said ‘Double-brake’ Congress governments slowed down Uttarakhand’s development.

Congress has committed the sin of throttling Uttarakhand’s dreams. People won’t forgive it, the prime minister exhorted.

“The motto of the ‘double-engine sarkar’ (a reference to BJP governments at Centre and Uttarakhand), is Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sanka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas,” PM Modi stressed while addressing the rally ahead of Uttarakhand election 2022.

Vociferously attacking the Congress, PM Modi said the upcoming Uttarakhand polls 2022 is a fight between those who created Uttarakhand and those who conspired to block its creation.
