In the latest development, Donald Trump has refused to participate in another presidential debate against Democratic US Vice President Kamala Harris, ahead of the US Presidential Polls 2024. This major announcement comes after some polls suggested that his democratic opponent won the recent debate.

Former US President Trump took to his social media site Truth Social to announce his plans. He wrote, “There will be no third debate.” He claimed in his post that he triumphed in the debate with Comrade Kamal Harris on Tuesday night.

Additionally, he accused her and Joe Biden of destroying the country, by letting millions of criminals and mentally unstable people enter the USA, along with Inflation bankrupting the middle class. He further alleged that Harris should concentrate on what she failed to achieve over the past four years.

Trump Claims Polls Showed His Victory

The 78-year-old republican nominee claimed in his post that the polls indicated his victory, while several surveys showed Harris performed better. Trump told the New York Post that he had already done two debates- one against Joe Biden on June 27 and a second one against Comrade Kamala Harris, emphasizing that he did well in both.

Harris Advocates For Another Debate

Trump also said that Harris immediately called for a second debate after the polls showed him winning. He remarked, “When a prizefighter fails to win a match, the first thing he utters is – I WANT A REMATCH.”

While addressing a rally, following Trump’s post, Harris stated that she believes they owe it to the voters to schedule another debate.
