United States President Donald Trump is putting all effort into sealing the nuclear deal with Iran to which the latter also showed interest. And, if it happens, it would put a halt to one of the future wars that could take place.

Before this, the US president had already normalised its nation’s relations with Syria and encouraged Russia and Ukraine to start talks. Amid all this, a new threat is looming as the US has apprehension that amid negotiations with Iran, Israel may launch an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities. 

Israel could strike Iran with minimal notice

The US officials have the impression that Israel may take an offensive against Iran’s nuclear sites, a report published In the New York Times claimed. As per the report, Israeli forces can take action against Iran on Netanayahu’s order, or the nation can strike Iran after informing the United States. The United States will not have enough time to persuade Israel or put pressure to avert such strikes if it happens.

There have been differences between Israel and the United States over Iran’s nuclear deal programme. The Trump administration officials are anticipating that they will succeed in stopping the Iran’s nuclear programme, stating that it remains to be seen what Iran would do with the Uranium stockpile.

Whether Iran will send the Uranium out of the country or will reduce it through other means has to be seen.  Meanwhile, Israeli officials have also hinted that they had a plan to attack Iran, which sources in US officials also confirmed. However, it is tough to speculate how Israel will conduct an attack without the United States and what its magnitude would be.
