Meerut Mavericks had booked their final berth after defeating Lucknow Falcons in the first Qualifier. Kanpur Superstars, led by Sameer Rizvi, emulated them, sealing their final berth with a thrilling six which crushed the hopes of Lucknow Falcons.
Qualifier-2 was scheduled between the Lucknow Falcons and the Kanpur Superstars on Thursday. But the inclement weather came up with interfering proceedings at the Ekana Stadium, after which the match went down to a super over that the Kanpur Superstars won in authoritative style.
