United Arab Emirates U19 are set to lock horns with Uganda U19 in the Plate Quarter-Final 1 of the ICC Under-19 World Cup today (25 January 2022). The match will be live at 6:30 PM IST from Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain in Trinidad.

The UAE, led by Alishan Sharafu, made a brilliant start to the World Cup. They defeated Canada by 49 runs in their first Group A match. But lost two back-to-back games and finished third in the points table and failed to qualify for the quarterfinals in the ongoing World Cup.

On the other hand, Uganda finished at the bottom in Group B. Surely a tournament stage for them to forget. In the last game on Saturday, Uganda slumped to a heavy 326-run loss against a strong Indian team in their last game and will have to play out of their skin to beat UAE in today’s clash.
