India were able to make a place in the final of the U19 Asia Cup 2024 being played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Indian team defeated Sri Lanka by seven wickets while chasing down 174 runs. Indian batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi played an innings of 67 runs from 36 balls and emerged as the Player of the Match. Suryavanshi smashed six fours and five sixes during his stay at the crease. Team India will now face Bangladesh in the tournament final set to be played on December 8 (Sunday).

Team India Qualify For U19 Asia Cup 2024 Final

Bowling first, the Indian team wrapped up Sri Lanka for 173 runs. Indian bowler Chetan Sharma became the most successful Indian bowler and picked up a three-wicket haul.
