TV actress Sana Makbul on rejections post dog bite on face: People said, ‘Ye kya hogaya?’

Starting her career in the television industry with Ishaan: Sapno Ko Awaaz De, actress Sana Makbul has come a long way in a decade. After her first show, the actress went on to do TV serials like Kitani Mohabbat Hai 2, Arjun, Vish, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? and Aadat Se Majboor. While doing work on the small screen, she also did films down South. Having done both TV and South films, Sana wishes to venture into Bollywood as well but she calls TV her ‘home’.

Before we get to see her on the silver screen, Sana will be showcasing his strength in the 11th edition of Khatron Ke Khiladi. This year, the show is going to be shot in Cape Town, South Africa. The actress will be leaving today for Cape Town. And before that, Times Now Digital did an interview with the actress.

In conversation with us, the actress revealed that a dog had bit her face and cupid bow last year. After that incident, the actress had to undergo surgeries and a grafting process. And while she is fine now, Sana told us she faced a lot of rejections because of her looks after a dog bite on her face.

She said, “Rejections I have got because of my looks. A lot of rejections. Whether it was for ads, films, a lot of (them). People have said Sana, ye kya hogaya? Arey, ye kya hogaya (Sana, What happened?). Having said that, I was like okay cool. It is okay abhi hogaya (it’s over), what can I do? More than anything if you accept how you are, nobody can beat that.”

Sana further told us that post the incident, she is scared of animals now. Today, whenever she sees a dog on the street, she changes her path. The actress said she gets scared if the dog will attack her. However, being a pet lover, the actress wants to get rid of this fear as it can’t go on forever. On a concluding note, the actress said she wants to be fond of animals again as she adores them. At the same time, she wants to take the fear of animals out of her

Meanwhile, Sana is participating in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 with Abhinav Shukla, Arjun Bijlani, Nikki Tamboli, Sourabh Raaj Jain, Rahul Vaidya, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, Aastha Gill and many other contestants.
