Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan is the latest celebrity to grace the couch on Arbaaz Khan’s chat show Pinch. The show, which is known for celebrities talking about social media and addressing troll criticism had Farah Khan at her sassy best as she did not let anything hold her back during the show.
During the show, Arbaaz read out fan reactions to Farah’s posts where fans called her out for being ‘moti’ (fat). One person had written, “Khud Moti ho.. Jp Inspire karr rahe hain stars working out from home, unn se pareshan ho abb Aap?”, while another fan posted, “Exercise releases endorphins which makes us feel good… Doing it is much better than listening to your blabbering.”
While Farah replied to most of them, she also added that she was shocked to know that so many people believe in physical workouts, which was a learning curve for her, she said, that if another lockdown comes, even she will do a fitness video and post it for everyone to see, stating that she will make her trolls be a part of the video as well.
As for those calling her moti, she added, “It is easy to call someone moti or whatever, teen bachchon ko janam do then you tell me.”
Farah even addressed the nepotism debate in Bollywood by questioning the audience, “Aap bolte ho nepotism and all that but dekhni toh aapko Shah Rukh Khan ke daughter ki photo hai. Ya Kareena ke bete ki photo (You complain about nepotism but you want to see only Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter’s photos or Kareena Kapoor’s son’s picture),” she said.
Meanwhile, Farah recently shared that she has been diagnosed with the deadly virus even though she was fully vaccinated. The Happy New Year director was shooting for Zee Comedy Show alongside Dr Sanket Bhosle, Ballraaj, Punit J. Pathak, Sugandha Mishra amongst others.
She wrote, “I wonder if this happened coz I didn’t put my “kaala teeka”… despite being double vaccinated, & working with mostly double vaxxed people.. I’ve still managed to test positive for COVID… I’ve already informed everyone I came in contact with, to get tested. However, if I have forgotten someone ( because of old age n fading memory) pls test urself. hoping to recover soon”.
Recently Farah was also seen in dance videos with celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and others.
