Thunderbolts New Trailer OUT: Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan Lead Antiheros Team In Final Movie Of MCU’s Phase Five

Thunderbolts Trailer: Marvel Cinematic Universe is currently in its Phase Five and two more movies left to release in theatres. One of them is ‘Thunderbolts’, which will focus on the team of antiheros as they work together for the US government. ‘Thunderbolts’ will feature popular characters like Yelena, Bucky and Red Guardian, who have appeared in several MCU movies in the pivotal roles.

While speaking to Empire, director Jake Schreier talked about the plot of ‘Thunderbolts’. He said, “I’ve seen a lot of synopses out there that just say, as though it’s a fact, that it’s a team assembled by Valentina to go do bad things. I understand why that would be the assumption, but that is not the story.”

Talking about Yelena’s role in Thunderbolts, he added, “She’s front and center. Yelena is in a certain place at the beginning of the film, and how she finds her way out of that place, and who she finds herself out of that place with, is at the heart of the story. It’s exciting to think of movies like Ronin or Reservoir Dogs, where you have a group of people that has no reason to trust each other. Could they even learn to work together? What sort of conflicts would arise?”

About Thunderbolts:

The movie also stars Hannah John-Kamen, Wyatt Russell, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, David Harbour, Olga Kurylenko, Harrison Ford, Lewis Pullman, and Geraldine Viswanathan in the lead roles. These characters have been introduced in other MCU movies but they will unite for the first time.

‘Thunderbolts’ will release in theatres on May 2, 2025.
