THIS Is What PM Modi Said On BJP’s Victory In Delhi Assembly Elections-Know In Detail

After 27 years, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power in the National Capital on Saturday and promised to leave “no stone unturned” for “all-round development” for the people of Delhi, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi on X.

“Jana Shakti is paramount! Development wins, good governance triumphs. I bow to my dear sisters and brothers of Delhi for this resounding and historic mandate to @BJP4India. We are humbled and honoured to receive these blessings. It is our guarantee that we will leave no stone unturned in developing Delhi, improving the overall quality of life for the people and ensuring that Delhi has a prime role to play in building a Viksit Bharat”.

In an another Tweet Modi Says, “I am so proud of each and every Karyakarta, who has worked very hard, leading to this outstanding result. We will work even more vigorously and serve the wonderful people of Delhi”.

For BJP, grabbing Delhi would be more than just winning an election; it would mean finally regaining a strategic foothold in the capital city after losing control in 1998.

Although Congress, the main national-level opposition party, remained in the running, it is not leading in any single seat. The party ruled Delhi from 1998 until 2013.

Voter turnout for the elections this time was close to 60 percent. Most exit polls predicted an absolute majority for the BJP and seat numbers beyond 35, although such predictions may not always hit the mark.
