The Former Indian Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan Joins Elite Buyers With Rs 69 Crore Flat In DLF The Dahlias, Gurugram – Know More Details

Former Indian cricket sensation Shikhar Dhawan has been making headlines away from the game with his high-end apartment buy in DLF’s ultra-luxury residential complex, The Dahlias, in Sector 54, Gurugram. On February 4, 2025, was when the deal was finally registered, property records seen by real estate advisory firm CBRE show.

A Sneak Peek into the Buy

Dhawan’s new home has a steep base price of Rs 65.61 crore, with an extra Rs 3.28 crore being paid in the form of stamp duty – taking the total to around Rs 68.89 crore. The effective rate comes out to Rs 1.14 lakh per square foot of carpet area.

Apartment Details

Carpet Area: Around 5,750 to 6,040 sq. ft.

Floor & Tower: 24th floor, Tower 1

Parking: 5 dedicated slots (PB-18-026 to PB-18-030)

Features: Premium finishes, personal elevators, and access to ultra-exclusive club facilities

This acquisition reflects the increasing popularity of The Dahlias amongst high-end homebuyers looking for premium residential spaces in the National Capital Region.

DLF’s Landmark Project

Earlier this year in 2025, DLF created a buzz in the real estate sector with record sales of 11,816 crore in nine weeks from The Dahlias project located in DLF Phase 5, Gurugram. A total of 173 luxurious units were sold over this duration, further establishing the development’s reputation as one of North India’s most desirable luxury addresses.

With homes that vary between 10,000 and 12,000 sq. ft., and penthouses spreading over 19,000 sq. ft., The Dahlias sets new benchmarks for luxury living. Prices for these homes begin at a little over Rs 70 crore for bare-shell apartments and go up to Rs 150 crore for totally furnished penthouses – two of which have already found buyers at that high price level.

Exclusive and Elite

The pricing also emphasizes the exclusivity of the project, with rates set at Rs 1.05 lakh per square foot (carpet area) and Rs 64,000 per square foot (super area). This puts The Dahlias far ahead of even DLF’s previous luxury offering, The Camellias, in both size and price.

DLF’s strategy of pre-sales has worked – 41% of the targeted 420 units have already been booked. Booking amounts have varied from Rs 5 to Rs 10 crore per unit, with the company having received almost Rs 1,200 crore till date. The inventory will be rolled out in phases, subject to market demand, so that exclusivity and continued interest are retained.
