Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi collaborated for the second time in the Telugu movie ‘Thandel’ and have been receiving good response for their performances. The movie focuses on Raju, who is deeply in love with Satya. Their love story takes a tragic turn after Raju accidentally drifts to Pakistan waters. Check two-days box office collection of Thandel as the movie is on its way to become a success.

Thandel Box Office Collection Day 2:

According to the website Sacnilk, Thandel collected Rs 10.75 crore on day 2 as per early estimates. The movie earned Rs 11.5 crore on its opening day and its total collection stands at Rs 22.25 crore.

In an interview with 123telugu, Naga Chaitanya expressed his exictement on the release of Thandel. He added, “Thandel is the costliest film in my career. Whether it’s the story or the character, the span is huge, and I am very excited about its release. We already watched the movie and are highly confident in its success. Those who watched the film gave unanimous reviews for the second half. I also felt an emotional high, and the last thirty minutes were very satisfactory.”

He added, “Every actor wants to improve with each of their films. As Thandel is based on a real-life incident, I got the required motivation. I genuinely believed I could reach the next level as an actor with Thandel. We spent almost eight months on the script and character transformation. I learned Srikakulam slang with the help of tutors, and it was very challenging for me.”

Thandel will release on Netflix after its theatrical run. It will also be available to watch in the dubbed versions of Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. Meanwhile, the official OTT release date of Thandel has not been announced yet as the movie is running in theatres. It is expected that Thandel might release on Netflix in March or April 2025 as the OTT release window for movies is mostly around 45 to 60 days.
