For the last two years there was nothing Ajith Kumar’s fans were praying for just one thing and one thing only, that was an update about Valimai. Finally today their prayers have been answers and how! The first motion poster of Valimai dropped online and it everything Thala fans wished for and more.

Valimai is being directed by H Vinoth. This is his second collaboration with the mass star Ajith Kumar. The film is being produced by Boney Kapoor, who shared the update on Twitter.

Boney Kapoor shared the video link of the Valimai motion poster and wrote, “The wait is over. Here you go #ValimaiMotionPoster” Without further ado, here is the motion poster of Valimai:

As expected the fans were overwhelmed by the first poster and couldn’t stop commenting on the same! One user commented, “Thala looks young as ever Gonna be a treat for fans”

The film also stars Huma Qureshi, Pearle Maaney and Kartikeya Gummakonda in key roles. The music of Valimai has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, whilst cinematography is done by Nirav Shah.

Apart from this, the film’s maker also released a press statement in which they further shared updates about the film. A part of the same reads, “The shooting of Valimai is complete and the film is all set for a worldwide release later this year.”

The filming of the Valimai began in December 2019 and the shooting was launched two days earlier at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Later it was reported that during an action sequence shoot, Ajith met with an accident which led to a delay in the shooting. After the first wave of Covid-19 hit India, the shoot of the film was once again put on hold.

During this time, Ajith Kumar’s fans kept hoping for an update about the film. Luckily now their wish has been fulfilled.
