Tata Nexon 2024 Facelift: Enhanced Panoramic Sunroof, 5-Star Safety, And Much More

Tata Motors has a variety of cars within different price caps in the compact SUV segment. One of the best-selling cars of the company happens to be the Tata Nexon. According to various media reports, the company is gearing up to introduce a new facelift version. It is said to be launched as early as November 2024. Viral videos on social media are seen showing the new Nexon packed with a panoramic sunroof.

The panoramic sunroof is larger than that of a regular sunroof. It runs from the driver cabin of your car to the rear seats with one large and durable glass panel. This setup improves your view outside the car from within and further brightens it up inside. Normally installed in high-end automobiles, these sunroofs allow easy exits from the car in emergencies.

Better Engine Options

Tata Motors’ robust car received a 5-star rating in the Global NCAP crash test. This car comes with a 1.2-liter petrol engine. It has an option for an electric engine, and soon, according to media reports, a CNG engine will be available in the market. The CNG version of the car will come fitted with two cylinders of 30-30 liters capacity each, thus leaving much boot space for storage of all items. Now, the base variant comes at an ex-showroom price of ₹7.99 lakh.

Interior And Safety Features

This car offers alloy wheels, stunning color options, and a 2-spoke multi-functional steering wheel that looks good inside. It has child anchors fitted on the rear seats and six airbags for safety measures. Some of the infotainment features are a 10.25-inch touchscreen, and it also has fitted seat belt reminders. It also comes with LED headlights, an AC with an automatic feature, and has a digital driver display with manual and automatic transmission options.

Mahindra XUV 3OO Features Comparison

Tata Nexon’s closest competition will be the recently launched Mahindra XUV 3OO. The car by Mahindra already comes installed with a panoramic sunroof. A 1.2-liter engine is fitted in it. It should also be kept in mind that electric or CNG versions are not offered by Mahindra’s car. It offers the option of a turbo engine which can be good enough for driving at high speed. This new generation of cars is available with six airbags and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for more safety. This ADAS works on sensor-based working principles, providing alerts in case of being closer to another vehicle or accident conditions.
