Actor Taapsee Pannu who is known for her varied choice in roles has teased she will do films of only one genre if she ever gets the opportunity to become a part of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)’s Avenger Series. The actress who is a Marvel fanatic and has time and again expressed her love for the movies has disclosed that if she ever becomes a part of the MCU, she will commit to it for life.

In an interaction with Film Companion, when she was asked which one genre of films she would do for the rest of her life, Taapsee simply said, “That will only happen if Marvel takes me in their Avenger series. That’s the only way. That’s the only cocktail of genres that can make me stick to only one type of film for the rest of my life.”

This is, however, not the first time that the Looop Lapeta actress has shown her interest in the MCU. Last year the actress had revealed that she had once messaged Robert Downey Jr on Instagram during one of her promotional activities for Haseen Dilruba. The actress, had, however, added she received no reply from the Hollywood star.

In a promotional video on Netflix ahead of the release of Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey starrer Haseen Dilruba, the actors were made to take a lie-detector test. During the course of the exercise, Massey had asked Pannu if she ever slid into DMs of a person who does not follow her. To this, Ms Pannu said, “So, I DM’d Robert Downey Jr and no one replied. I was like, I have more followers than you also.”

The actress, however, did not reveal which platform she texted him on.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Taapsee had a number of projects in 2021, including Haseen Dilruba, Rashmi Rocket, and Tamil film Annabelle Sethupathy. This year she had kickstarted with Looop Lapeta. The actress also has Shabaash Mithu, Blurr and Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan in her kitty.
