Kerala Blasters FC and East Bengal FC will face off in the opening round of 16 match of the Super Cup at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar today at 8:00 PM. The defending champs East Bengal FC aims to continue their winning streak from last season as Kerala Blasters FC tries to restart their journey with new head coach David Catala at the helm. India’s premier domestic knockout competition features both Kerala Blasters FC and East Bengal FC who have fully used their extended ISL playoffs absence to prepare. Kerala Blasters FC and East Bengal FC made comparable decisions during the ongoing season as they dismissed their head coaches Mikael Stahre and Carles Cuadrat midseason.

Kerala Blasters FC Performance Review

East Bengal FC Performance Review

East Bengal FC delivered impressive results in the recent Indian Super League season, thanks to their consistently strong team performance. East Bengal FC’s last match was against NorthEast United which ended with a 4-0 victory using attacking moves. The match against Bengaluru FC ended in a 1-1 draw. The team earned a 2-0 win against Hyderabad FC. Their previous winning streak, with victories of 3-1 against both Punjab FC and Mohammedan SC, contributed to their momentum.
