SRH Vs LSG: Predicted Playing XI For Lucknow Super Giants! Avesh Khan IN – Check All The Key Changes

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will be looking to register their maiden win of the IPL 2025 season as they will be playing against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Thursday, March 27, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

The Rishabh Pant-led team had a disappointing start to their campaign, as they lost by one wicket against Delhi Capitals (DC) in their first match. LSG were in dominant positions but could not make the most of the opportunity and ended up losing the game.

Injury Concerns For LSG Ahead Of SRH Clash

Lucknow has also been affected by injuries in their pace department, with Akash Deep and Mayank Yadav being out of contention. But a bright spot of news is that seamer Avesh Khan has been declared fit and will add to LSG’s bowling resources in the big game against Hyderabad.

The Return Of Avesh Khan

LSG’s likely playing XI is a good blend of experienced international stars along with young Indian talent. Aiden Markram, Mitchell Marsh, and Nicholas Pooran will form the pillars of the batting unit, offering punch in the top order and middle order. Captain Rishabh Pant, back to his full-time captaincy role, will try to leave his mark both with the bat and behind the wickets.

David Miller is another addition of strength as a finisher, with Shardul Thakur and Shahbaz Ahmed forming all-rounders to balance the team. The bowling unit, led by Ravi Bishnoi’s spin prowess, will also rely on the youngster Digvesh Rathi along with the returning Avesh Khan, to counter SRH’s aggressive batting lineup.

LSG Predicted Playing XI

Rishabh Pant (C & WK), Aiden Markram, Mitchell Marsh, Nicholas Pooran, Ayush Badoni, David Miller, Shardul Thakur, Ravi Bishnoi, Digvesh Rathi, Avesh Khan, Shahbaz Ahmed
