Ever since the announcement of Netflix’s Squid Game 3 has been made, fans have been speculating how the show will end. They have been digging the first and second instalment to find out loop holes that may provide a hint as to how the makers are planning to wrap things up in this world, where life is measured by money.

End Of The Island And Squid Game

As per this conspiracy theory, the policeman (played by Wi Ha-joon) will blast the entire island, on which the illegal activities are conducted. This comes from the fact that in season 1, episode 5, we see the front man’s brother, disguised as one of the masked guards, talking to another worker, underneath th island. ?The worker tells him that there are tunnels that allow the VIPs to escape the island if there comes a need and there are bombs in those tunnels, which will blow up and remove the last trace to prove that there was anything ever on that island.

So the theory is that the policeman will go to the island, save every contestant through the tunnel and then blow up the island. Since he knows about the exact location of the bombs, he might use it to his benefit. What substantiate the theory is the importance of that scene in the series. The makers would not show the bombs without any reason. It is deemed to be used sometime later in the show.

Who Is The Master Mind?

In season 2, we see the workers getting angry with the masked guard no. 11, because she interferes in harvesting the organs from the dead contestants. Later, she is called by one of the bosses, who tells her that the captain is going to be upset if they fail to harvest the organs. The captain he is referring to is the captain of the boat, who is working with the policeman to find out the island.

In one of the scenes, we see workers scuba diving to deliver the organs to the concerned person, who then takes it to the shore. We also know that the captain of the boat that is carrying the police men and his allies is an antagonist. So there the third season may actually show how it’s been a racket, where the guards will identify frontman’s brother. They may be asked to take him to the island, thereby leading to the end.
