Meanwhile, Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Park Sung-hoon, Jo Yu-ri, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, and Lee Jin-uk are the new addition to the star cast.

The show has also been nominated for Best Television Series (Drama) at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards.

‘Squid Game’ will return with its third season and will release on Netflix on June 27. Earlier, while announcing Season 3, director Hwang Dong-hyuk said in a statement, “I am beyond excited to be writing this letter to announce the date for Season 2 and share the news of Season 3, the final season. On the first day, we began shooting Season 2, I remember thinking, “Wow, I can’t believe I’m back in the world of Squid Game.” It almost felt surreal. I wonder how it will feel for you to be back in Squid Game after three years, as well.”

It was rumoured that Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio will be seen in ‘Squid Game Season 3’. Reacting to the rumours of Leonardo DiCaprio’s involvement in ‘Squid Game Season 3’, the makers said, “The rumors are completely false. Reports of Leonardo DiCaprio’s involvement in Squid Game Season 3 are entirely unfounded.”

Squid Game Season 3 will be the final season of this franchise. An English remake is reportedly under the development.
