Tom Holland has officially kick-started shooting for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, in which he will reprise his role as everyone’s favourite superhero, Spider-Man. The movie has been hitting headlines since its announcement, and there has been a lot of speculation regarding its plot and star cast. To create more buzz, Marvel just unveiled Tom’s new look from the film as the actor flaunted his new suit.

In the video, Tom is seen flaunting his new Spider-Man outfit, which has some minor changes from his previous costume. The makers decided to maintain the mystery around the plot of ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ as they did not reveal anything in the teaser.

About ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’

Apart from Tom Holland, the movie also stars Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, and Michael Mando. It will be a part of MCU’s Phase Six and will release in theatres on July 31, 2026.

Meanwhile, ‘Stranger Things’ fame Sadie Sink is the new addition to ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, but the details about her role have not been revealed yet. According to reports, she will be seen as the daughter of Toby Maguire’s Peter Parker and Mary Jane, aka Mayday Parker. Several other reports stated Sadie is rumoured to play Gwen.

In the last film, everyone forgets the existence of Spider-Man and Peter Parker, as this was the only way to save the world and protect the multiverse. He promises MJ (Zendaya) and Ned (Jacob) that he will find them again and make them remember him. The emotional goodbye and Peter’s sacrifice are likely to be the plot of Spider-Man 4. 

It is also not clear what will happen to Peter Parker after everyone forgets his identity. The character was not a part of Marvel’s latest releases, ‘Thunderbolts’ and ‘The Fantastic Four: First Step’. Tom Holland will also not appear in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, which will arrive in theatres in 2026.
