South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol Declares Emergency Martial Law Amid Escalating Political Crisis

President of South Korea Yoon Suk Yeol has implemented ’emergency martial law’. As per media reports he mentioned that this was needed to protect the nation from the communist forces.

According to media reports Yoon Suk Yeol came with this decision to eliminate the anti-state elements. He implemented this big step to safeguard the nation from threats by the communist forces.

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol mentioned that, “With no regard for the livelihoods of the people, the opposition party has paralysed governance solely for the sake of impeachments, special investigations, and shielding their leader from justice, as reported by Economic Times.

Yoon further accused the opposition party. He indicated the party’s latest move to impeach the top lawyers. He mentioned that the national assembly has became a home for the criminals.

He mentioned that it was important to take such decision to protect the country’s constitutional order. He made this announcement while addressing through television.

The decision from Yoon came after the Democratic Party of Korea have accused him of plotting to implement the martial law.

According to media reports, Lee Jae-myunng the opposition leader had warned that the implementation of the martial law will land the nation into perfect dictatorship.

By responding to such allegation the Yoon’s office has set aside these allegations and mentioned it as fabricated propaganda. They accused that the opposition is spreading misinformation.
