Huma Qureshi will soon return to the big screen with her film ‘Single Salma’. She will share the screen with Shreyas Talpade and Sunny Singh. The movie will focus on Salma, a woman living in London who has been arranged to marry a man in Lucknow. However, she is stuck in a love triangle when she starts developing feelings for another man.

Single Salma is scheduled to release in theatres on October 31, 2025. The movie is presented by Star Studio18 in association with Elemen3, Single Salma is produced by Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Saqib Saleem, Elemen3 Entertainment, Lalaland Entertainment and Firuzi Khan.

On the work front, Huma Qureshi has a bunch of films lined up. She will reportedly feature in the Kannada film ‘Toxic’ with Yash.

Meanwhile, she achieved a big milestone after winning the Face of Asia Award at the Busan International Film Festival 2025. In her speech, she shared, “For a little girl who grew up in a middle-class family in New Delhi, whose father was born in Nizamuddin Basti and whose mother was born in a village in Kashmir, I was always told that acting or even thinking of becoming an actress was not for someone like me. So, to be here and to receive this is validation not just for me, but for all those little girls out there who have been told that certain things are not for them. This is for all the little girls who dare to dream and who don’t take no for an answer.”

She was recently seen in ‘Jolly LLB 3’ in a pivotal role and starred alongside Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, and Saurabh Shukla, with Amrita Rao.
