On this special occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava, we take two monumental steps to honor our land and language: Establishing a state-level museum in Mysuru to celebrate Karnataka’s rich culture and civilization—from ancient times to the modern Silicon Valley era. To take firm steps to ensure that Kannada, along with English, is printed on labels for all products manufactured in Karnataka. Let us breathe new life into our heritage and stand tall with pride in our language and culture! Jai Kannada, Jai Karnataka!”

Furthermore, during his speech on occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava, Siddaramaiah highlighted the importance of Kannada. He urged people to never give up the pride of Kannada and never forget the language also. He said, “In 2023, after I became the Chief Minister, I announced in the budget that Karnataka Day must be celebrated. We should teach Kannada to people. Kannada language has 2000 years of history. We at any cost should not sacrifice our language. Never give up the pride of Kannada. We didn’t say never learn another language but I say never forget to speak Kannada.”
