Shruti Haasan feels ‘thankful’ for being in lockdown with rumoured BF Santanu; shares loved-up photo

South Indian actress Shruti Haasan is currently busy with a couple of Tollywood projects. After taking a break for 2 years, she made her comeback on the big screen with Ravi Teja’s Krack and a cameo performance in Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab movie. With the success of these two projects, she once again became busy with work and even added a few more blockbusters to her kitty.

As we know, the glam doll is an avid social media user, she stays close to her fans and also treats them with frequent updates. Be it her throwback pics or stylish click, Shruti makes sure that her followers awaited Instagram post and seldom she disappoints them.

Speaking of which, much recently she shared a pic of her rumoured boyfriend Santanu Hazarika on her Instagram Stories and called him her ‘Lockdown Buddy’.

In this image, Shruti is seen closely hugging Santanu. Atop the picture, she wrote “BEST LOCKDOWN BUDDY SO THANKFUL”. Both of them can be seen twinning in black outfits. Santanu sported a black tee while Shruti looked chic in a halter top. 

In a Pinkvilla interview, Shruti opened about her rumoured affair with Santanu and said, “I don’t know if I believe in the concept of dating. Therefore I shall evade smoothly out of that. I will tell you what it is, it is not that I want to hide anything and never been the one to hide. But I have very things in my life that are personal. I grew up in front of people because of my parents…”

“and everyone knows, everything to know so I’m not hiding anything but I think, I don’t feel the need to put a label on it. I’m really thankful for our friendship. He is really very talented, very unique. I’m happy to have that equation in my life”, she further added. 

As for Shruti’s work front is part of Prabhas and Prashant Neel’s most awaited movie Salaar and Vijay Sethupathi’s Laabam movies.

Laabam movie is being directed by SP Jananathan and is bankrolled by P. Arumuga Kumar and Vijay Sethupathi under the Vijay Sethupathi Productions and 7Cs Entertainment Pvt Ltd banners. This movie’s cast includes Jagapathi Babu, Sai Dhanshika, Ramesh Thilak, Prithvi Rajan and Kalaiyarasan. Touted to be a political thriller, this film will reportedly see Vijay Sethupathi in a completely different avatar.
