Ask a daughter and she will tell you that she wants to look exactly like her mother! Whether it’s getting your mom’s high-cheek bones or stealing your mother’s makeup stash, every girl wants to look like her role model. And lil Samisha looks like a spitting image of her mom Shilpa Shetty. Shilpa kept her baby’s face hidden from the prying eyes of media for a very long time. 

But a couple of months ago, Shilpa was snapped with her daughter and the actress didn’t refrain from showing her baby girl’s face. Today marks the celebrations of International Daughter’s Day and Shilpa went on to share the happiest and most beautiful post for her baby girl. Shilpa went on to share a video that begins with Samisha planting a kiss on her mother’s cheek followed by a video of the little princess trying to get up and stand on her feet at their Ganpati celebrations. 

Shilpa captioned the post as, “Happy Daughter’s Day to US, mine and ours… Thank you, Samisha, for choosing me. I promise you that even though we’ve been mother-daughter from the start, we’ll always be best friends forever from the heart Love you, my baby!”

Last February, Raj, and Shilpa had taken to their social media handle to announce that they are now proud parents to a baby girl whom they welcomed on February 15. Days after her birth via surrogacy, the couple shared the news with the cutest social media snap that read, “Our prayers have been answered with a miracle. With gratitude in our hearts, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of our little Angel. Samisha Shetty Kundra. Born on 15th February 2020 Junior SSK in the house.”

Further explaining the meaning of the name, Shilpa wrote, “‘Sa’ in Sanskrit is “to have”, and ‘Misha’ in Russian stands for “someone like God”. You personify this name – our Goddess Laxmi, and complete our family.”

After being arrested for his alleged involvement in the porn case, Raj has been released from Arthur Road Jail on bail. He was arrested on July 19 for allegedly producing and distributing porn films.
