Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly been injured on the sets of his upcoming film ‘King’ and has been asked to rest for a month. ‘King’ is supposed to be Shah Rukh Khan’s first project after Rajkummar Hirani’s directorial ‘Dunki’, and the movie has created huge hype even before its official announcement. The reports further claim that the shooting schedule has been cancelled for the upcoming months.

However, sources close to the project have assured that Shah Rukh Khan is not seriously injured. “He was shooting in Mumbai when he was injured. The exact details of the injury are being held under wraps at the moment. It is more of a muscular injury and nothing serious. That being said, it is not being taken lightly. Shah Rukh has travelled to the US for medical attention. He has been suggested to take a one-month rest,” a source told Hindustan Times.

The source added, “Till then, Shah Rukh has been advised to rest and focus on the recovery. In fact, he has also been asked to get back to the set with caution.”

‘King’ will reportedly feature an ensemble cast including Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhay Verma, Raghav Juyal, Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff. The movie has not been announced yet but has been in the news ever since Shah Rukh Khan dropped the hint.

Further details about ‘King’ have been kept under wraps.
