Ajay Devgn is all set to return with the sequel of his 2012 film ‘Son Of Sardaar’. After giving updates about the film on social media, the actor has officially announced its release date. He also shared his first look from Son Of Sardaar 2 in which he is seen sporting a turban.

Announcing the release date, Ajay wrote on X, “The Return of the Sardaar. #SOS2 in cinemas near you on 25th July. #SardaarIsBack #SonOfSardaar2”

However, the poster hasn’t landed well with everyone. While some fans welcomed the return of the mass entertainer, others criticized the visual quality and creative choices.

“Looks like the makers of #SonOfSardar2 were high on bhaang while designing the poster. It feels more like a PARODY of #SonOfSardaar than an actual sequel. Ajay Devgn’s pose looks like it was shot on a green screen and pasted onto an AI-generated tanks.. and even that wasn’t done right! ” one user wrote.

The user further added, “This kind of lazy humor doesn’t land well. The poster screams senseless comedy.. the kind where u’re expected to leave your brain at home. Part 1 was so much better… this poster just turns Ajay’s iconic pose into a joke.”

Another quipped, “Lo ji aa gaya Sadda #SonOfSardaar2… #AjayDevgn is all set to come back again with a Mass Bumper opening film!”

Some also compared the criticism to the trolling faced by Devgn’s previous look from Raja Saab, saying, “The Raja Saab was heavily trolled by these samosa critics. But why is everyone silent even after such poor editing in #SonOfSardaar2”

Son Of Sardaar 2 also stars Mrunal Thakur, Sanjay Dutt, Sanjay Mishra, Ravi Kishan, Kubbra Sait, Vindu Dara Singh and Mukul Dev in the lead roles.
