Bollywood’s trend of re-releasing films is gaining momentum, and Sanam Teri Kasam is the latest film to ride this wave. Despite its underwhelming box office performance upon its initial release in 2016, the romantic drama has now got a second chance, winning over audiences with its re-release. The overwhelming response has given impressive box office numbers, setting new records. Let’s dive into the film’s remarkable earnings so far.

Massive Earnings In Just Three Days

Since its re-release, Sanam Teri Kasam has been receiving an overwhelming response from audiences, reigniting its charm on the big screen. Starring Harshvardhan Rane and Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane, the film kicked off with a strong opening, earning ₹4.25 crore on its first day. The momentum continued to build on day two, adding ₹5 crore to its tally. In just two days, Sanam Teri Kasam had already collected over ₹9 crore, nearly half of its original lifetime earnings. The box office growing numbers maintained its momentum on the third day as well, with collections rising to ₹5.75 crore. With this, the film’s total box office earnings in India now stand at a staggering ₹14.75 crore (net).

New Record In Ticket Bookings

According to Koimoi data, the re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam achieved an impressive 1,57,000 bookings on BookMyShow on its first Saturday. This makes it the second highest-ticket-selling film of 2025 so far. Topping the list is Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force, which secured 2,99,000 bookings. In third place is Deva, with 1,00,000 bookings, while Ranbir Kapoor’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani re-release stands at fourth place with 98,000 bookings.

Sanam Teri Kasam Outshines New Releases

The craze for Sanam Teri Kasam is at its peak, and the film has set yet another record by outperforming newly released movies at the box office. While Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan’s film Loveyapa has collected ₹4.45 crore in three days and Badass Ravikumar has earned ₹6.15 crore in the same period, Sanam Teri Kasam has left both these films far behind in terms of earnings.
