A day before his 56th birthday, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan met with an unfortunate incident. The actor got bitten by a snake at his Panvel farmhouse and he was rushed to a hospital. After his hospitalisation, it was revealed that Salman is out of danger. Hours after he got bitten by a snake, a photo of Salman from the hospital went viral on social media. It did leave his fans worried but now the actor is all fit and fine.

Last night, Salman made his first public appearance after the incident and his photos came as a sigh of relief for his fans. The actor even cut his birthday cake and at the same time, he broke silence on the snake bite incident. In an interaction with the media, Salman revealed how he got bitten by the snake.

“A snake had entered my farmhouse, I took it outside using a stick. Gradually it reached onto my hand. I then grabbed it to release, which is when it bit me thrice. It was a kind of poisonous snake. I was hospitalised for 6 hours. I am fine now,” he said.

Yesterday, in an interview with ETimes, Salman’s father had shared the actor’s health update. “We were definitely worried when it happened and Salman rushed to the nearest medical centre to get an injection that is needed in such cases. Thankfully it turned out that the snake was not poisonous. Well, he returned to the farmhouse and went to sleep for a few hours. As we speak, he is fine. There’s nothing to worry but yes, there was a scare,” he told the entertainment portal.

Coming to Salman’s work front, the actor was last seen in Mahesh Manjrekar’s Antim: The Final Truth. The film, which also featured Aayush Sharma and Mahima Makwana, is the official Hindi remake of the hit Marathi film, Mulshi Pattern. Despite Salman’s strong presence in the movie, Antim failed to work wonders at the box office.

Next up, Salman will be reuniting with newlywed Katrina Kaif for Tiger 3, which will also feature Emraan Hashmi. It is being reported that Salman might have a cameo appearance in Pathan. The movie will star Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. Other than these movies, Salman will star opposite Pooja Hegde in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.

Meanwhile, we wish a very happy birthday to Salman!
