Salman Khan recently appeared on the new season of The Great Indian Kapil Show as the first guest. While he entertained the audience with his usual charm and wit, he also shared a serious update about his health.

During the candid conversation with Kapil Sharma, Salman joked about marriage and divorce, saying it can be emotionally and financially draining. But then, he opened up about some major health problems he’s facing.

“Hum ye jo daily ki haddiyan tudwa rahe hain, pasliyan toot gai, trigeminal neuralgia ke sath kaam kar rahe hain, aneurysm hai brain mein uske bawajood kaam kar rahe hain. AV malformation hai, uske bawajood chal rahe hain (I’m out here breaking my bones every day, ribs are fractured, I’m working despite having trigeminal neuralgia, there’s an aneurysm in the brain, yet I’m still working. There’s also an AV malformation, and still, I’m carrying on),” Salman said, describing the daily challenges he faces.

“All of this is going on in my life. Aur jahan unka mood satka, woh aadha humara leke chala gaya. Ye younger age mein hota toh theek tha, phirse kama lete. Ab wapis se… (And the moment their mood soured, they will take away half of what I had. Had this happened when I was younger, it would’ve been fine. I could’ve earned it all back. But now, starting over again…)”

Trigeminal neuralgia, also known as the “suicide disease”, is an severe facial nerve condition he first opened up about in 2017. Along with that, he now revealed he has a brain aneurysm, a dangerous bulging of a brain blood vessel and an arteriovenous malformation (AVM), a rare abnormal tangle of blood vessels that disrupts normal blood flow.

Even with these health challenges, Salman affirmed he has no plans to slow down, continuing to work in action roles that often involve physical risk.

Meanwhile on the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in Sikandar alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Kishore, Jatin Sarna and Sanjay Kapoor.

Salman Khan has reportedly teamed up with Apoorva Lakhia for his next project and he will be seen as an army officer. The movie is reportedly based on the Galwan Valley clash and the team will soon start shooting.
