Saif Ali Khan is all set to make his Telugu debut in one of the most awaited releases of the year ‘Devara’. The actor will share screen space with Telugu superstar Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor in the movie. Saif Ali Khan recently expressed his gratitude towards Jr NTR and the team of ‘Devara’ for welcoming him in the Telugu cinema with open arms and also praised the crew for being kind to him. Janhvi Kapoor also echoed the ‘Race’ star’s statement and appreciated the cast and crew of ‘Devara’.

Recalling his experience on the sets of ‘Devara’, Saif Ali Khan said, “Lovely people, I must say. Your unit and the crew – it was such a pleasure to work with everyone. So polite and kind – it was the nicest experience ever. Thank you for being so welcoming and amazing.”

The work culture around ‘Devara: Part 1’ was a revelation for the actor. Saif even embraced the ease of taking naps between takes – something he’d never done in his decades-long career. Janhvi, too, was bowled over by NTR Jr. and Koratala Siva’s finesse at balancing work and leisure. She admired how lunch breaks were a priority, ensuring the team always had fuel for their long creative voyage.

Janhvi Kapoor added, “Usually, when you have so many people on set, there’s always noise and chaos. There’s always the first AD screaming, ‘Quiet, we’re going for a take!’. It was just peace on the set. Everyone was so disciplined.”

Directed by Koratala Siva, ‘Devara’ will hit the theatres on September 27, 2024. The movie is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, with presentation by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram.

On the work front, Saif was last seen in the movie ‘Adipurush’ which did not work well at the box office. The movie received massive backlash from the audience for its different portrayal of Ramayana and poor special effects.
