Indian captain Rohit Sharma is currently undergoing his worst phase of his international career. The latter hasn’t been able to score runs and his captaincy is currently undergoing a lot scrutiny. The year 2024 has been full of ups and down for the India national cricket team. At one end, Rohit Sharma led Team India to a historic T20 World Cup 2024 title whereas under his captaincy, the Indian team ended up losing to New Zealand at home by 3-0 in the three-match Test series.

Rohit Sharma is currently leading the India national cricket team in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 series. The latter hasn’t been able to deliver with a bat in a single match as of now and got dismissed for just 10 runs during the first innings of IND vs AUS 3rd Test being played in Brisbane. While Rohit Sharma was walking back to the dressing room, Rohit left his gloves on the field and walked into the dressing room. A social media post regarding the same went viral which claimed retirement rumours for Rohit Sharma.

Rohit Sharma began his Test career with a bang and smashed back to back centuries in both the innings on debut against West Indies. However, as the time has passed, the latter hasn’t been able to achieve any clinical success in the red-ball format as of now. Rohit is almost in the last phase of his career and will look to end it on a high by playing a dream innings.
