Red Dragon eyeing the land of thunder dragon, satellite images show Chinese construction activities in Bhutan

Ever since China gained an upper hand over COVID-19, which was first reported in Wuhan, it has been needling neighbouring nations.

From displaying provocative behaviour along the Line of Actual Control sparking a full-blown dispute with India to occupying parts of Nepalese territory by building a village in Humla district, China’s hunger for territorial expansion has now brought the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) to Bhutan.

New satellite images reveal roads and bridges being constructed by PLA troops around central Bhutan.

Times Now accessed images showing PLA construction activity in full-swing in Bhutan.

Earlier, CGTN journalist Shen Shiwei shared pictures of the settlement in Pangda which lies 2 kilometres within Bhutanese territory, however, he deleted his tweet later.

Talking to the channel about the report of China capturing part of Bhutan’s territory by setting up a village near Doklam clash site, Ambassador of Bhutan to India Major General Vetsop Namgyel had told ANI that no such settlement exists on their territory.

“I have seen the tweet. It is a tweet by a journalist. I don’t bother to speculate about tweets,” he had said.
