The India national cricket team registered a fantastic victory over South Africa in the fourth T20I match and defeated the Proteas by a margin of 135 runs. The Indian team showcased a complete team performance at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg wherein they were able to put up a score of 283/1 in 20 overs while batting first. Indian batters Tilak Varma and Sanju Samson smashed hundreds wherein both the batters achieved many records. Apart from securing records and milestones with the bat , the Indian team was brilliant with in the field as well.
The Indian team management has a special ritual as they give a special fielding medal to the player who comes up with a stupendous fielding performance. Indian leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi won the fielding medal after the IND vs SA 4th T20I 2024 match for the brilliant catch he took to dismiss Aiden Markram. Apart from Bishnoi, Suryakumar Yadav and Sanju Samson were the other contenders to win the best fielder fielding medal. On the other hand, Indian batter Tilak Varma won the best fielder award for the IND vs SA 2024 T20I series. The video for the same was shared by BCCI on their official ‘X’ handle.
The ‘Men in Blue’ won the four-match IND vs SA T20I series by a margin of 3-1. The Indian team could have won the series by 4-0 as they had nearly won the second T20I held in Gqeberha. India clearly showcased that why they are the world champions in T20 cricket and also setup an example on how the modern-day T20 cricket should be played.
