Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone became parents to a baby girl on September 8 and have been busy looking after their daughter since then. They were hardly spotted on social media, let alone outside their home. However, Ranveer finally treated their fans to a picture from his workout session.

In the picture shared on his Instagram Stories, Ranveer Singh flaunts his toned biceps as sweat drips down his body. He wears athletic wear consisting of a white vest, blue shorts, and gloves. With his hair tied up and sporting a long beard, the actor exudes a beastly persona.

Hours after the picture was dropped, it was reported that he was starting the shoot of Aditya Dhar’s next. The film will feature him alongside Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal. This has led to speculations that the new look of Ranveer is for Aditya’s film.

As informed by a source close to production, “The shoot will start in November.” “We have had a very productive shoot in Bangkok, Thailand. Now Ranveer is all set to get back to the shoot in November for the next schedule. We cannot give out details about the various locations at this point, but the excitement for the next chapter is extremely high after the high-quality product that we’ve seen on-screen with the first schedule,” the report by Pinkvilla further read. 

Ranveer’s Films Shelved

Meanwhile, fans are waiting for Ranveer Singh’s Takht, which was shelved due to the pandemic. Karan Johar had called it his ambitious project and a teaser of the same was released in 2020. However nothing was announced after that. The film brings together an ensemble cast comprising Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor besides Ranveer.

Takht is not the only Ranveer Singh film that has been shelved. Director Prasanth Varma’s Rakshas, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra have also been long-awaited.
