Recently a portal carried out a piece of news which claimed that Rakul Preet Singh is not very active in Tollywood and that the actress has acknowledged the same in an interview, even going to say that the actress has cited the reason why she is not getting many offers in Telugu cinema.

The report went on to cite that the actress, who was most recently seen opposite Arjun Kapoor in Sardar Ka Grandson has said she is preoccupied with back-to-back projects in Hindi and that there are no offers for her in Telugu Cinema. As per the report, the actress even said she wants to do a proper commercial flick in Bollywood and is waiting for the right choice. However, the actress has now taken to social media to refute the report cited by the entertainment portal.

Taking to Twitter, Rakul shared the original link of the report and went on to completely disagree with it, stating that some will do anything for headlines. She wrote, “I wonder when I said this Friends there are only 365 days in a year and if you can help in adjusting more than 6 films that I am doing right now then plz help my team. #anythingforheadlines”

As per the actress, not only has she not only busy with projects but is actually doing six films this year.

Meanwhile, in a recent interaction with ETimes, Rakul Preet Singh who made her Bollywood debut with Yaariyan and has subsequently done Aiyaary, De De Pyaar De and Marjaavan stated that she did not believe in the outsider, insider story and that it was only talent that helps one find a footing. The actress added that she found the industry to be accepting and that people give one an opportunity if they are hard-working and talented.

The actress, who is popular both in Bollywood and South also opened up about straddling two industries, saying she has stopped thinking of films in terms of their language, stating that actors are crossing over everywhere and that there are no borders.
