The controversial entertainment ‘queen’ of the showbiz, Rakhi Sawant is known for her bold and bindass attitude. In Bigg Boss 14, the actress and dancer revealed that she is married and in the 15th season, she introduced her husband Ritesh to the world. While their differences in opinions and verbal fights in Bigg Boss 15 showed that all is not well between the duo, we saw them making our heads turn with their PDA moments in front of paps in the last month.

But ahead of Valentine’s Day, Rakhi Sawant shared a heartbreaking news on her social media account that she and husband Ritesh have parted ways, through a long note.

The note reads, “Dear fans and well wishers, just wanted to say that Ritesh and I have decided to part ways. After the Big Boss show a lot has happened and I was unaware of certain things which were out of my control. We have tried to work out our differences and tried to make things work but I think it’s best we both move on amicably and we both enjoy our lives separately.”

She added, “I am really sad and heartbroken that this had to happen before Valentine’s Day but the decision had to be made. I wish Ritesh the best in life but for me at this stage in life I have to focus on my work and my life and keep myself happy and healthy. Thank you for understanding and supporting me always.”

While we saw several fans consoling Rakhi Sawant, a certain section of users replied that they were expecting this to happen. A netizen commented, “Ye toh hona hi tha,” another user wrote, “Lol we knew it already. It was fixed.” Fans were also seen showing support to the Bigg Boss 15 contestant as one of them wrote, “Yea Toh honna hi tha Chalo koi naa him sath Hain” while another one commented, “Best decision.”

In one of the old interviews with HT, Ritesh spoke about his controversial personal life and revealed that Rakhi was not his legal wife as he is yet to get a divorce from his first wife Snigdha.
