Raju Srivastav on Nisha claiming Karan hit her: Suna tha maar peet jhhopad patiyon mein hoti hai

Popular TV actor Karan Mehra was arrested for allegedly assaulting wife Nisha Rawal at their Mumbai residence on May 31. The actor was later released on bail. Both Karan and Nisha have levelled several allegations against each other since the matter became public. Some celebrities have come out in support of Karan while others have extended support to Nisha. We caught up with actor-comedian Raju Srivastav for his comments on this issue.

During an interview with Times Now Digital, Raju spoke about the ongoing fight between the couple and on Nisha alleging that Karan had physically assaulted her. “Maine suna tha maar peet jhhopad patiyon mein hoti hai. Rickshaw wale daaru peeke karte hain. Samajhdar log bhi karte hai, yeh janke bahut dukh hota hai (I had heard that physical assaults happen in slums. Rickshaw drivers get drunk and do this. The fact that even educated and intelligent people do this is very sad),” he said

Raju says that both Karan and Nisha are adults and should sit together and sort their personal matter. “It is personal and within their family. They are actors and people follow them. In serials and TV shows, ye bahut badi badi baatein karte hai (they talk big). Seekh dene ki baate karte hain dialogue me (in dialogues, they talk about life’s teachings). Lekin in real life, ulta behave karte hain, yeh janke dukh hota hai (but in real life, they behave the opposite. It is very sad to know this),” he said.

Nisha has alleged that when she spoke to Karan about an amount for the alimony, he banged her head on the wall, leaving her with serious injuries. Karan, on the other hand, has refuted these claims and has alleged that Nisha spat on him, abused him and banged her head on the wall herself to frame him when he refused to give her an exorbitant amount as alimony.

Nisha has also accused Karan of having an extramarital affair, which the actor has denied.
