Rajkummar Rao has successfully established himself as one of the most versatile actors in India. He has now announced his new movie ‘Maalik’, along with its first look and release date. In the poster, Rajkummar is seen sporting an intense look with a gun.

Announcing the movie, the makers wrote, “Poore pradesh aur desh pe RAJ karne aa rahe hain MAALIK! @rajkummar_rao in and as #Maalik In Cinemas on 20th June, 2025.”

Maalik will release in theatres on June 20, 2025.

He will next star in the project ‘Toaster’, which will release on Netflix. Sharing the teaser, Netflix wrote, “Itne mein kitna milega? Sab milega Rajkummar, Sanya, and a wild ride through mayhem, mishaps, and marriage.. all for a toaster. Toaster is coming soon, only on Netflix.”

Rajkummar starred in Mr & Mrs Mahi, Stree 2 and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video in 2024.

After the massive of Stree 2, it was rumoured that Rajkummar Rao had increased his fee. But the actor, in an interview, completely dismissed the rumours and said that he does not want to burden his producers. While reacting to these rumours, Rajkummar Rao told The Indian Express, “I read different figures every day. I’m not stupid to burden my producers. Being a part of the biggest blockbuster is not going to change me as an actor, money is just a byproduct of my passion. I want to work all my life so I keep looking for roles that surprise me, excite me, challenge and help me grow.”

Rajkummar will also star in the future projects in Maddock Horror Universe.
