The movie has been receiving immense love and appreciation from the audiences and it has remained the first choice of moviegoers even in its third week. Also starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles, ‘Pushpa 2’ has already crossed Rs 1000 crore mark at the box office.

Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 18:

According to the website Sacnilk, ‘Pushpa 2’ collected Rs 33.25 crore on day 18 (third Sunday) and the numbers are significantly higher than day 17 (third Saturday). The movie has earned Rs 1062.9 crore in total in India with its most numbers coming from the Hindi belt.

Amid its massive success, ‘Pushpa 2’ has also been involved huge controversy after a woman died due to stampede during the film’s screening at Sandhya theatre when Allu Arjun visited. The actor was also arrested in this case but later was released on interim bail. His house was recently vandalised by some protesters, who demanded Rs 1 crore for the victim’s family.

Allu Arjun recently urged his fans not to resort to any sort of abusive behaviour. He also shared that strong action will be taken against those, who will indulge in abusive behaviour. He wrote on X, “I appeal to all my fans to express their feelings responsibly, as always, and not resort to any kind of abusive language or behavior both online and offline. Misrepresenting as my fans with fake IDs and fake profiles, if someone indulges in abusive posts, strong action will be taken against them. I request the fans not to engage with such posts.”

Meanwhile, the actor also addressed the tragic death in the stampede incident and announced the donation of Rs 25 lakh for the victim’s family.
