Desi Girl fame and renowned actress Priyanka Chopra is known for her confidence and fearless attitude, but her strong personality wasn’t shaped alone. In the early days of her career, she was very clear about her boundaries. Her mother, Madhu Chopra, in a recent interview revealed that Priyanka Chopra once rejected a film after a director’s weird request.

In a candid chat with the Indian Express, Madhu Chopra told how she was always present on film sets during the start of Priyanka’s career. She explained, “In the beginning days of her career, I used to sit on sets like a daayan (witch) to ensure her safety. She was very young, and we were outsiders. We had heard that the industry was not always safe.

Madhu then recalled an incident where a director asked her to leave the room for a private narration, but known for her boldness, Priyanka immediately refused and walked out.

Madhu revealed, “She told him, ‘If you can’t narrate the story in front of my mother, do you think I’ll do this film? No, I won’t.’” She further told that Priyanka was always firm with her decisions and never feared losing a film.

However, Madhu did not reveal the name of the filmmaker. But this incident once again proved why Priyanka is always widely appreciated for her boldness and up-front behaviour.
