Prithvi Shaw Returns To Mumbai Squad In Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy: Is This His Tournament To Conquer?

India’s star batter Prithvi Shaw is struggling with poor form these days. Recently he played Ranji Trophy for Mumbai. But he was dropped from the team due to poor fitness. However, now Shaw has returned to the Mumbai team. He has been selected for the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The selection panel has announced 28 probable names for the mega event.

28 Players Were Selected

The Mumbai team has prepared a probable squad of 28 players for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Apart from Shaw, Shreyas Iyer and Ajinkya Rahane are also part of this team. These players would like to make a splash in the IPL by performing well in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Shaw has not been retained by Delhi Capitals for IPL 2025, while Shreyas Iyer has been released to KKR and Rahane has been released by CSK.

Squad: Prithvi Shaw, Ayush Mhatre, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Jay Bista, Shriraj Gharat, Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer, Suryansh Shedge, Ishan Mulchandani, Siddesh Lad, Hardik Tamore (wk), Akash Anand (wk), Sairaj Patil, Akash Parkar, Shams Mulani, Himanshu Singh, Sagar Chhabadia, Shardul Thakur, Mohit Awasthi, Sylvester D’Souza, Royston Dias, Yogesh Patil, Harsh Tanna, Irfan Umair, Vinayak Bhoir, Krutik Hanagavadi, Shashank Attarde, Junaid Khan.
